Lengthy Post Alert!
Something I have loved about my blog is I have been able to see our progression, even when I feel like we haven’t. During this remodel, I went back through the blog and looked at the old posts about our kitchen and I said in one of the lines, “I hope we can redo it in 15 years.” 5 years in and we have gotten it redone and it was the best-spent money yet…even for my partner S. the professional chef!

It was a long 6 months with some serious issues! The company that did the final renderings miss measured a section which required them to tear it all out and start over after the cabinets, counters, and tile backsplash were in. We had a water issue with a faucet and a gas leak that had to be corrected.
We also ended up with a dented fridge, missing trim, and a messed up cabinet BUT WE SURVIVED!
